BENDER's Lifeguard series of GFCIs ensures that your personnel and equipment recieve the latest in protection technology. Our complete package of ground fault detection
and interruption includes the following features:
- Rated for up to 100 A load current or more
- Detects both AC and DC faults
- Works with all standard voltages, including 208 V, 480 V, 600 V, and more
- Works on systems with variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Grounded neutral protection and inverse time curve to help prevent nuisance tripping
- Easy-to-install package in NEMA rated enclosure
- Customizable options available, including adjustable setpoints, stop/start capability, and more
Ground Fault Branch Monitoring on Grounded Systems
BENDER's RCMS series of ground fault relays can monitor up to 12 separate branches from a single device. Each branch may be set to an individual trip level and may
be monitored independently via the device's detailed LCD display. The RCMS490 additionally features separate contact outputs for remote indication. Integration into industrial
communication systems is also available with the COM460IP protocol converter.
Ground Detection in Ungrounded Systems
The IRDH275 monitors for ground faults in ungrounded single-phase AC, three-phase AC, and DC systems by monitoring the
system's insulation resistance. It may be connected to systems of AC 0...793 V and DC 0...650 V. Optional voltage coupler
accessories extend this range. The AMP Plus measuring principle utilized by the IRDH275 meets the requirements of modern
power systems, including pure DC systems, systems with rectifiers, and systems with variable frequency drives (VFDs).
In systems with high leakage capacitances, the IRDH275 automatically adapts itself to ensure a reliable reading. Integration into industrial communication systems is also
available with the COM460IP protocol converter.
Voltage and Frequency Monitoring
BENDER's voltage relays offer a plethora of features from a single, small device. The VME420 (single-phase AC and DC) and VMD420 (three-phase AC) relays are all-in-on
devices that can monitor for overvoltage and undervoltage, overfrequency and underfrequency, and phase sequence and phase loss (VMD420). The digital display shows values in
real-time. Their small size and form factor allow for easy integration into panels and distribution cabinets. Two configurable contact outputs allow for remote indication of
any alarms that may exist.
