RCMA series
The RCMA series monitors for faults on grounded and high-resistance grounded systems running on AC, pulsed DC, or pure/rectified DC (IEC 60755 Type B) power, including systems with variable frequency drives.

RCMA420
Digital ground fault monitor for grounded AC/DC systems
The RCMA420 monitors for ground fault leakage current in grounded and high-resistance grounded single- and three-phase AC, pulsed DC, and pure DC systems (Type B). Features include adjustable setpoint from 10ma...10A, LCD display, adjustable time delay, fault storage, 2 SPDT alarm relays which can be set for normally energized and normally de-energized operation. An external BENDER current transformer is required for operation.

Also required: Current transformer from the WAB series. Datasheet
Use our CT Selector to find the correct and optimal CT for your system.

RCMA423
Digital ground fault monitor
The RCMA423 monitors for ground faults in grounded and high-resistance grounded AC (both single- and three-phase), DC, and mixed AC/DC systems. The RCMA423 is specially designed to provide advanced warning of developing ground faults without the problems associated with high sensitivity nuisance tripping. A digital LCD screen displays real-time measurements of the system's ground fault current. Two separately adjustable SPDT contacts allow for information transmission (such as to a PLC) or power interruption (such as through a contactor or shunt trip breaker). Since the values are measured with measuring current transformers, the device is nearly independent of the load current and the nominal voltage of the system.

RCMA475LY
Ground fault monitor for grounded AC/DC systems with internal CT
The RCMA475LY monitors for ground fault leakage current in grounded & high-resistance grounded single & three-phase AC, pulsed DC, and pure DC type systems (Type B). Features include two seperately adjustable setpoints from 30mA...500mA for the main alarm and 50% of the set value for the pre-alarm, LED meter display (0-100%), adjustable time delay from 0...1 s for the pre-alarm and 0...10sec for the main alarm, fault storage, 2 DPDT alarm relays which can be set for normally energized and normally de-energized operation. Includes a built-in 18mm current transformer.

Unit uses internal current transformer; external CT not required.

RCMA471LY
Ground fault monitor for grounded AC/DC systems
The RCMA471LY monitors for ground fault leakage current in grounded & high-resistance grounded single & three-phase AC, pulsed DC, and pure DC type systems (Type B). Features include two seperately adjustable setpoints from 100mA...3mA for the main alarm and 50% of the set value for the pre-alarm, LED meter display (0-100%), adjustable time delay from 0...1 s for the pre-alarm and 0...10sec for the main alarm, fault storage, 2 DPDT alarm relays which can be set for normally energized and normally de-energized operation. An external BENDER current transformer is required for operation.

The RCMA471LY has a higher starting setpoint range than the RCMA470LY, but can use larger sized current transformers.

Also required: Current transformer from the WB series. Datasheet

RCMA470LY
Ground fault monitor for grounded AC/DC systems
The RCMA470LY monitors for ground fault leakage current in grounded & high-resistance grounded single & three-phase AC, pulsed DC, and pure DC type systems (Type B). Features include two seperately adjustable setpoints from 30mA...3mA for the main alarm and 50% of the set value for the pre-alarm, LED meter display (0-100%), adjustable time delay from 0...1 s for the pre-alarm and 0...10sec for the main alarm, fault storage, 2 DPDT alarm relays which can be set for normally energized and normally de-energized operation. An external BENDER current transformer is required for operation.

The RCMA470LY has a lower starting setpoint range than the RCMA471LY, and uses smaller current transformers.

Also required: Current transformer from the WB series. Datasheet
