CME420 |
Digital current relay for AC systems (true RMS)
The CME420 series monitors for undercurrent and overcurrent in AC systems, as well as the current between two threshold values. True RMS values are read by the device. Values are displayed in real-time on the digital LCD screen. Trip levels are explicity set via the digital display. Settings allow for latching or non-latching operation.
Up to 16 A of current can be monitored when directly connected to the system. Optional current transformer connections greatly expand this range. When x/5 ratio current transformers are used, the CME420 can be programmed with this ratio to allow explicit values to be set instead of doing calculations by hand. An external supply voltage is required.
