"TITANIC" - The Movie The BENDER LIFEGUARD GFCIs were used to monitor the 400A power distribution feeding the underwater lights during the filming of the movie "TITANIC". During filming, a ground fault occurred while 136 people were in the water. The LIFEGUARD GFCIs instantly detected the ground fault and power was interrupted immediately before anyone could get hurt.

The BELLAGIO HOTEL in LAS VEGAS, NV BENDER provided 440 UL-Listed (UL943 - Class A) LIFEGUARD Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters for single and three-phase AC systems with variable frequency drives to the BELLAGIO Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. These state-of-the-art GFCIs are capable of detecting ground faults on AC and DC single and three-phase systems including systems with variable frequency drives. They will be used to monitor the "AMAZING" 12-acre fountain with light show that will be at the entrance to this $1.8 billion five star hotel.
